They are your typical married couple with kids, they work full time and are busy juggling work, home life, ageing parents, and running the kids around.
I first met them 10 years ago when they realised they had good incomes but didn’t feel they were getting ahead.
Fast-forward 10 years, they have purchased a new home in their ideal suburb and completed major renovations: They have an investment strategy helping to reduce their mortgage, are on track to retire comfortably, they have implemented plans to reduce risk in case of an unforeseen event. Their plans have been tweaked to incorporate changes along the way, and recently included a plan to help them manage their day-to-day expenses allot more effectively.
